Considerable disagreement exists regarding whether endometrial polyps should be removed before attempting natural pregnancy and before pregnancy via intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). Through a literature review, we obtained information on the impact of endometrial polyps and polypectomy on fertility outcomes. Several observational studies have suggested that women with unexplained infertility may benefit from endometrial polypectomy for a future natural pregnancy.

<i>Background/Aims: </i>The aim of this meta-analysis was to determine whether frozen embryo transfer (ET) increases ectopic pregnancy (EP) rate compared with fresh ET. <i>Methods:</i> A meta-analysis was performed of data from seven comparative studies including 13,059 pregnancies that resulted from nondonor in vitro fertilization cycles. <i>Results:</i> The EP rate was 2.31% (49/2,125 pregnancies) for frozen ET and 1.48% (162/10,934 pregnancies) for fresh ET

Adverse symptoms were common and discontinuation rate was somewhat higher during short-term course of ulipristal acetate. Information about incidence of various adverse symptoms should be given to women who willing to take ulipristal acetate.

This study was designed to investigate the role of nitric oxide (NO) on the apoptosis of human luteinized granulosa cells and its possible pathways. Granulosa cell suspensions were incubated for 48 h after adding NO donor (S-nitroso-N-acetyl-penicillamine, SNAP) and NO synthase inhibitor (nitro-L-arginine methyl ester, L-NAME) at different concentrations. Apoptosis was examined using a terminal deoxynucleotide-transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling method in 70 patients, and immunocy
