연구실 소개
이철 교수의 연구실은 신경재생 및 뇌질환의 병태생리학을 중심으로, 알츠하이머병과 뇌손상에서 산화적 손상과 신경생성의 역할을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 VEGF-Flk1 신호전달 경로가 뇌손상 후 신경세포 재생에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 규명하며, 신경다발아세포의 생존과 분화 조절 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다. 또한 환자의 정서적 반응을 설계에 반영하는 감성디자인 프레임워크 개발을 통해 의료 및 산업 제품의 사용자 경험 향상에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Twenty-two Korean inpatients with delirium were administered prospectively a flexible dose of quetiapine. The delirium rating scale-revised-severity 98 (DRS-R-98) and clinical global impression scale-severity (CGI-s) scores were assessed at the time of pre- and post-treatment. The DRS-R-98 and CGI-s scores were significantly reduced by 57.3% and 55.1%, respectively. We found the first RCC case with ALK gene rearrangement in Korean patients by ALK immunohistochemistry among 829 RCCs. This case showed similar histological and immunohistochemical features to those of previous adult cases with ALK rearrangement, and showed relatively good prognosis.
