연구실 소개
김도균 교수의 연구실은 항생제 내성 미생물의 유전자 기반 진단 및 내성 메커니즘 규명을 핵심으로 삼고 있으며, 특히 대표적인 병원성 박테리아인 대장균, 편형균, 파이오몬라스, 아나이바쿠스 등에서 나타나는 다제내성 및 카바페넴 내성의 전파 양상과 임상적 영향을 종합적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 또한, 의료 현장에서의 항생제 내성 모니터링 체계 구축과 관련된 국가적 시스템(Kor-GLASS)의 활용을 통해 실질적인 감염병 관리 전략을 제안하고 있습니다. 최근에는 내성 유전자와 병원성 관련 유전자(예: pks)의 연관성 분석을 통해 예후 예측 지표를 도출하는 데에도 주력하고 있습니다.

15Between 2013 and 2015, the resistance rates of E. coli to third- and fourth-generation cephalosporins increased continuously, while carbapenem-susceptibility gradually decreased, particularly in K. pneumoniae. The prevalence of carbapenem-resistant P. aeruginosa and A. baumannii increased significantly; therefore, few treatment options remain for these resistant strains.
