연구실 소개

최은식 교수의 연구실은 심리학적 문제의 문화적 차이를 탐구하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 청소년기의 신체 이미지와 정서적 불안정성, 전염병 기간 동안의 정서적 웰빙 변화, 그리고 문화적 맥락에 따라 다를 수 있는 고통 표현 방식(신체화)에 대해 심층적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 코로나19 패닉 상황에서의 불안, 정서 인식의 변화, 가족 지원의 역할 등 실생활 문제를 심리학적 관점에서 분석하는 데 기여하고 있습니다. 다양한 문화권(미국, 한국, 중국, 일본 등)을 대상으로 한 비교 연구를 통해 심리적 경험의 보편성과 특수성을 밝혀내는 데 목적이 있습니다.
