대학교육에서 등록금뿐만 아니라 생활비는 학업에 전념해야 할 대학생들에게 상당한 경제적 부담으로 작용하고 있다 최근 생활비 대출의 수요는 년 억 원에서 년 억 원으로 두 배 가까이 급증하였다 본 연구는 생활비 대출의 고유 효과를 분석하기 위하여 년제 일반 대학 등록금 대출자의 생활비 추가 대출이 졸업소요기간과 취업성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 이에 더하여 등록금 대출과 생활비 대출 제도의 효과적 운영을 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하고자 하였다 이를 위해 한국고용정보원에서 제공하는 대졸자직업이동경로조사 의년도 자료를 활용하였으며 종속변수는 졸업소요기간과 취업여부 및 정규직 여부 시간당 임금의 네 가지로 구분하여 살펴보았다 보다 엄밀한 추정을 위하여 표본선택편의 를고려한 경향점수매칭 을 활용하였다 분석 결과는 다음과 같다 첫째 등록금 대출자에 비해 생활비 추가 대출자의 등록금 대출 총액이 더 높으며 사회경제적 배경은 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다 경제적 부담이 비교적 큰 학생들이 생활비
