연구실 소개
김희은 교수의 연구실은 뇌영상학과 신경영상 기반의 뇌질환 진단에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 MRI 및 DWI를 활용한 뇌병변의 정밀 분석과 동맥류 및 정맥류 등 cerebrovascular 질환의 영상적 특징을 규명하는 데 전문성을 기르고 있습니다. 또한 갑상선암 환자의 림프절 전이 진단을 위한 초음파 기반 영상 기법 개선과 함께, 성체 간엽줄기세포를 활용한 세포치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히, 정신질환 환자에서의 세로토닌 수용체 운반체(SERT) 기능 이상과 관련된 영상생물학적 연구를 통해 정신질환의 신경생물학적 기전을 규명하고자 합니다.

15The US/CT combination was found to be superior to US alone for the detection of metastatic lymph nodes in the lateral neck levels in PTC patients by level-by-level analysis.
Brain lesions were typically located at the cerebellar dentate nucleus, midbrain, dorsal pons, medulla, and splenium of the corpus callosum. According to DWI, most of the lesions in MIE probably corresponded to areas of vasogenic edema, whereas only some of them, located in the corpus callosum, corresponded to cytotoxic edema.
Adult stem cells have a great potential to treat various diseases.
