연구실 소개
황재연 교수의 연구실은 노인의 낙상 탐지 기술과 실시간 모니터링 시스템 개발을 핵심으로 하며, 생체 신호를 기반으로 한 정밀한 건강 관리 기술을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 남성 불임과 관련된 정자 운동력 저하의 분자 기전, 특히 DNAH2 유전자 변이와 CatSper 채널 단백질의 기능적 역할을 규명하는 생식생물학 분야의 연구도 진행 중입니다. 특히 정자 내 mRNA의 역할과 낙상 예측 알고리즘 개발을 통해 의료 기술의 실용화를 견인하고 있습니다.

15Novel algorithm and real-time ambulatory monitoring system for fall detection in elderly people is described. Our system is comprised of accelerometer, tilt sensor and gyroscope. For real-time monitoring, we used Bluetooth. Accelerometer measures kinetic force, tilt sensor and gyroscope estimates body posture. IA and AD are similar in terms of personality, temperament, and emotion, and they share common characteristics that may lead to aggression. The flagellar-specific Ca<sup>2+</sup> channel CatSper is the predominant Ca<sup>2+</sup> entry site in mammalian sperm. CatSper-mediated Ca<sup>2+</sup> signaling affects nearly every event that regulates sperm to acquire fertilizing capability.
