연구실 소개
황진혁 교수의 연구실은 주로 간췌암(PDAC)과 담도암, 만성간질환 등 소화기계 악성 종양 및 간질환의 분자 기전과 진단 생물학적 마커를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, miR-21, IL-6, IL-8, EMT 관련 마커 등 암의 진행성과 예후 예측에 기여하는 분자 표지자들을 규명하며, 치료 반응 예측 및 새로운 타겟 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다. 또한, 자가면역성 췌장염(AIP) 및 헬리코박터 파일로리 감염과 관련된 진단 기준 및 병리적 영향에 대해서도 체계적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

15Low miR-21 expression was associated with benefit from adjuvant treatment in two independent cohorts of PDAC cases, and anti-miR-21 increased anticancer drug activity in vitro. These data provide evidence that miR-21 may allow stratification for adjuvant therapy, and represents a new potential target for therapy in PDAC.
Among 67 cases of AIP, either IgG or IgG4 was elevated in 76% of patients, and 14 patients (21%) had other organ involvement. New Korean diagnostic criteria are useful for diagnosis of AIP.
The expression of markers of EMT and metastasis in PDACs was significantly associated with pathologic features of aggressiveness.
