연구실 소개
정혜솔 교수의 연구실은 담췌장암 및 대장암의 조기 진단, 치료 반응 예측, 전이 및 복발 위험도 평가에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 병변의 크기와 영상 소견 변화를 바탕으로 한 BD-IPMN의 추적 관찰 전략, 국소 진행성 췌열선암에서의 신재생 치료 전략 및 영양 상태 평가의 중요성, 그리고 세포 내 미토콘드리아 기능과 약물 내성 간의 연관성 등 분자 기반의 치료 기전 규명을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 환자 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립과 예후 개선에 기여하고자 하는 목적이 있습니다.

15These findings suggest that BD-IPMN surveillance may depend on the size of the cyst and morphologic changes at the initial 6-month follow-up. For patients with small cysts (ie, <20 mm) with no morphologic changes during the initial 5-year surveillance period, surveillance may be discontinued for those unfit for surgery or who have a limited life expectancy of 10 years or less.

Nutritional deterioration after NAC is a significant prognostic factor of poor survival outcomes in patients with pancreatic cancer. These findings indicate that serial nutritional assessments and treatment during NAC are crucial for improving patient outcomes.
In patients with (borderline) resectable pancreatic cancer with vessel contact who were scheduled for curative-intent surgery after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, additional radiotherapy was associated with better postoperative survival and local control. Furthermore, our findings suggested that scheduling surgery within 4 weeks following radiation therapy might enhance the perioperative outcomes.
