연구실 소개

문형곤 교수의 연구실은 유방암 환자의 생존과 복귀 위험 요인을 분석하며, 특히 체중 저하가 암 치료 후 사망 및 복발 위험과 연관이 있음을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 암 미세환경 내 지방세포의 역할, 특히 유방암에서 변형된 지방세포(Cancer-Associated Adipocytes, CAA)의 분자적 특성과 조절 기전을 체계적으로 연구하고 있습니다. ER 음성 유방암에서 NFIB 단백질이 새로운 치료 타겟으로서의 가능성을 제시하며, 유방암 치료 전략 수립에 기여하고 있습니다. 더불어 초음파와 MRI를 활용한 갑상선 및 유방 종양의 정밀 진단 및 예후 예측 모델 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다.

The accuracy of MRI in predicting residual tumor extent was lowest in ER-positive tumors treated with NST. In HER2-positive tumors, the use of HER2-targeted agents resulted in a less accurate MRI after NST. These factors should be considered for deciding the extent of breast conservation after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
