본 연구는 우리나라 중등 도덕과에서의 세계시민교육 담론의 지배적인 시각과 그 특징을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 선행연구에 제시된 세계시민교육에 대한 다양한 접근법들을 개념 틀로 활용하여, 2009 개정 교육과정 및 2015 개정 교육과정의 중·고등학교 도덕과 교과서들 중 세계시민교육 관련 내용 요소들이 포함된 단원들의 서술을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 중·고등학교 도덕과 내에서의 세계시민교육은 대체로 연성적(soft) 접근을 취하고 있는 것으로 확인되었으며, 세계시민교육에 대한 후기 비판적(post-critical) 접근에서 제기하는 근대적·식민주의적 상상력 또한 재생산하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과를 토대로 도덕과 세계시민교육 내에 비판적 접근을 더 적극적으로 반영할 것과 세계문제를 다룸에 있어 우리나라 청소년들의 삶과 좀 더 가깝게 맞닿아 있는 사례들을 보강할 것, 그리고 세계시민교육의 주제나 세계문제를 해석하는 서구 이외의 다른 세계관들까지도 고려할 것을 제

배경: 흉강경 수술이 점차 확대되고 있으며 폐암에서의 적용도 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 폐암 환자에서 시행한 흉강경 폐엽절제술의 안정성을 평가해보고, 개흉 폐엽절제술과의 성적과 비교해 보았다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년 5월부터 2008년 3월까지 임상적 I기 폐암으로 흉강경 폐엽절제술을 시행받은 133명과 개흉 폐엽절제술을 시행받은 202명을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 임상적 I기 폐암은 수술 전 컴퓨터단층촬영과 양성자방출단층촬영 등을 포함한 진단 방법으로 결정되었다. 흉강경 폐엽절제술은, 초기에는 장경 3 cm 미만, 2006년 이후에는 4∼5 cm의 병변까지 확대하였으며, 2개 혹은 3개의 포트와 늑골 벌림 없는 3∼6 cm의 작업창을 이용하였다. 병리학적으로 I기로 확진된 환자들을 2009년 2월까지 추적관찰하여, 흉강경 폐엽절제술군과 개흉 폐엽절제술군의 생존률과 무병생존률을 비교하였으며, 흉강경 수술 중 개흉술로 전환한 8명은 양군의 비교분석에서 제외되었다. 결과: 흉강경

This article investigates whether policy efforts to integrate immigrants into society can have interpretive effects and motivate adolescents of immigrant origin in European countries to engage in the host country’s political system. We find that countries with more inclusive integration policies tend to have smaller gaps in voting intention between adolescents of immigrant origin and those not of immigrant origin, holding constant an array of individual and family politically relevant resources.

본 고는 홉스와 로크, 루소의 고전적 사회계약론에 대한 검토를 바탕으로 이들 이론의 시사점과 한계에 대해 살펴본다. 고전적 사회계약론은 논리 전개 방식과 구체적인 내용에서는 각각 차이가 있지만, 자유롭고 평등한 개인이 자연 상태의 어려움을 극복하기 위한 목적에서 구성원 상호 간에 계약을 맺어 공통의 주권 권력을 설립하고 그러한 권력에 복종함으로써 평화와 안전을 획득한다는 핵심 내용에서는 공통된다. 홉스, 로크, 루소의 고전적 사회계약론은 비록 각 이론 내부적으로는 일정한 한계를 드러내고 있음에도 불구하고, 정치 제도와 국가의 정당성의 기반을 평가할 수 있는 견고한 사상적 토대를 마련함으로써 자유롭고 평등한 개인의 권리의 우선성을 확보하고 근대 민주주의 이론의 발전에 기여하였다.

본 연구는 우리나라 도덕과에서의 민주시민교육을 둘러싼 갈등과 논란들을‘도덕과 민주시민교육의 정치학’으로 명명하고, 현재적 의미에서의 학교 민주시민교육이 도입된 것으로 평가되는 제6차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정에 이르기까지 도덕과 민주시민교육에서의 쟁점은 무엇이며 구체적으로 어떠한 논의가 진행되어왔는지 살펴본다. 학교에서 도덕과나 사회과와 같은 독립교과를 통해 민주시민교육을 실시해온 우리나라의 경우 민주시민교육과 관련된 논쟁은 종종 도덕과교육과 사회과교육 간의 경계 문제로 비화 되었고 도덕과교육 학계 내부에서는 민주시민교육 관련 내용을 교과에 어떠한 방식으로 포함시키는지의 여부가 교과의 정체성을 확립하는 문제와 직결된 사안으로 인식되기도 하였다. 이러한 도덕과 민주시민교육의 정치학에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 민주시민교육 활성화가 화두로 제기되고 있는 차기 개정교육과정에서의 도덕과 민주시민교육에서의 과제에 대해 논의한다.

본 연구는 한국의 중·고등학교 도덕과 교과서에서의 국가 시민성과 세계 시민성 관련 내용들이 시간의 흐름에 따라 어떻게 변화하였는지 살펴본다. 이를 위해 제3차 교육과정부터 2015개정 교육과정까지 출판된 중·고등학교 도덕과 교과서 36권을 분석하였고, 국가 시민성을 나타내는 핵심 단어로 ‘국가,’ ‘조국,’ ‘민족,’ ‘애국(나라사랑),’ ‘국민,’ ‘통일’을, 세계 시민성을 나타내는 핵심 단어로 ‘인권,’ ‘정의,’ ‘평화,’ ‘다문화·다양성,’ ‘세계시민(세계인),’ ‘환경’을 선정한 후 이 단어들이 제3차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지 출판된 중·고등학교 도덕과 교과서에서 사용된 빈도를 계산하였다. ‘민주주의’의 경우 단어가 사용된 맥락의 차이에 따라 국가 시민성 또는 세계 시민성으로 분류하여 사용된 빈도를 계산하였다. 나아가 단순한 빈도 계산으로 놓칠 수 있는 사용 맥락에서의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 해당 단어가 포함된 교과서 서술에 대한 질적 분석을 병행하였다. 분석

본 연구는 국제시민교육연구(International Civic and Citizenship Education Study, 이하 ICCS)의 2009년과 2016년자료를 사용하여 이주민 통합 정책이 자국 청소년의 정치 신뢰에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석대상으로는 2009년과 2016년 ICCS에 참여한 국가들 중 이주민통합정책지수(Migrant Integration Policy Index, 이하MIPEX) 2011년 혹은 2015년 자료가 활용 가능한 25개 유럽국가들을 포함하였다. 분석 방법으로는 2수준 다층모형(two-level hierarchical linear modeling)이 활용되었다. 분석 결과, 이주민의 수용국 내 통합을 장려하는 포용적인 이주민통합 정책을 채택하고 있는 국가일수록 자국 청소년들이 더 낮은 정치 신뢰를 보인다는 주장은 경험적으로 지지되지않는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면, 포용적인 이주민 통합 정책은 사회경제적으로 취약한 자국 청소년들
