연구실 소개
문재훈 교수의 연구실은 갑상선질환, 특히 갑상선 미세암과 활성 관찰 전략에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 갑상선 종양의 유병률 증가 원인과 대사 이상의 역할을 규명하고자 합니다. 또한 환자의 삶의 질과 신경인지 기능 저하, 당뇨병 환자에서의 염증 및 혈관 손상 메커니즘 등 갑상선 기능 이상이 미치는 전신적 영향을 다루는 종합적인 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 한국인 환자에 맞는 진단 및 치료 가이드라인 수립을 목표로 임상적 실용성을 고려한 연구가 특징입니다.

15The high prevalence of thyroid nodules in people who underwent thyroid US at a health checkup suggests that increased detection of thyroid nodules resulted in an increased prevalence in the general population. However, metabolic disturbances may also have contributed to the increase in thyroid nodule prevalence in Korea.
Our results validated 1.0 ng/mL of FNA-Tg as a cutoff value for diagnosing LN metastasis of PTC and suggested that serum TSH suppression and serum Tg presence should be considered in diagnosing LN malignancy with FNA-Tg in PTC patients.
