연구실 소개
전재현 교수의 연구실은 주로 폐암 및 소화기계 수술의 임상적 결과 개선을 목표로 하며, 특히 만성 폐질환을 동반한 비소세포성 폐암 환자에서 VATS(복부내시경 수술)의 유용성과 생존율에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 항생제 내성 박테리아에 의한 신우신염 치료의 유효성 평가와 EGFR 변이가 폐암 환자의 예후 및 타겟 치료 반응에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 핵심적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 네트워크 보안 분야에서는 DDoS 공격 탐지 기술 개발을 통해 정상 트래픽의 안정성 확보에 기여하고 있습니다.

Our study demonstrated that EGFR mutation is an independent prognostic factor for PRS. Considering that EGFR mutations were the only independent predictors for response to EGFR-TKIs, selecting patients for EGFR-TKI therapy according to EGFR mutation status may lead to a better prognosis in patients with recurrent pulmonary adenocarcinoma.
