연구실 소개
이정원 교수의 연구실은 주로 암의 정밀 진단 및 예후 예측을 목표로 하며, 특히 18F-FDG PET/CT를 활용한 난소암, 췌장암, 간세포암 등 다양한 종류의 암에서의 진단적 가치와 예후 인자로서의 임상적 유용성을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 뇌전증 및 파킨슨병 등 신경계 질환의 진행 양상과 도파민 수용체 기반 영상 진단의 정밀도 향상에도 기여하고 있으며, 세포 내 금속 이온(아연, 수은)의 동적 모니터링을 위한 새로운 형광 프로브 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이와 같은 다학제적 접근을 통해 임상 영상의 정밀도와 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립에 기여하고자 합니다.

15MTV and TLG are independent prognostic factors for predicting RFS and OS in patients with pancreatic cancer. Thus, (18)F-FDG PET/CT can provide useful prognostic information for patients undergoing resection of pancreatic cancer with curative intent irrespective of neoadjuvant treatment.
