연구실 소개
최정윤 교수의 연구실은 신경학적 질환, 특히 중심성 어지러움과 위치성 떨림의 기전 및 진단에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 뇌간 및 소뇌 손상에 의한 중심성 떨림의 특성, 특히 apogeotropic 유형의 위치성 떨림과 벤조형 비정상성 떨림의 차이를 정량적 분석을 통해 규명하고 있으며, 헤드 임펄스 검사의 임상적 해석과 중추성 어지러움의 진단 기준을 재고하고 있습니다. 또한 심혈관계 질환과 연관된 뇌졸중의 생체지표 및 치료 전략에 대해서도 연구를 확장하고 있습니다.

15CPPN may be ascribed to enhanced responses of the vestibular afferents due to lesions involving the nodulus and uvula. CPPN could be differentiated from benign paroxysmal positional nystagmus by positional nystagmus induced in multiple planes, temporal patterns of nystagmus intensity, and associated neurologic findings suggestive of central pathologies.

In this retrospective registry-based observational study, CE stroke seemed to be associated with elevated plasma level of FFA. In addition, the present study suggested that an elevated FFA concentration could be a useful indicator for predicting recurrent stroke in CE stroke patients.
