본 연구는 고급 소비문화공간으로 알려진 압구정동·청담동 지역에 대한 그 동안의 사회적 시각 변화를 정리하고, 이 지역이 고급 소비문화공간으로 발전하게 된 과정, 그리고 경관상으로 나타난 이 지역의 소비문화공간 특성을 살펴 보았다. 이 지역에 대한 사회적 담론이 생산되기 시작한 1990년대 초반부터 현재까지 담론 변화의 핵심은 ‘욕망=오렌지족=디스토피아’에서 ‘취향=보보스=소호’로의 변화다. 이러한 변화에는 양적, 질적으로 급성장하고 있는 소비영역과 소비가 자아 정체성의 형성과 표출에 중요한 매개로 자리잡아 가고 있는 후기 자본주의 사회의 특성이 파악된다. 1970년과 1980년대 최고가 아파트 지구에 인접해 있으면서 고급상점가를 형성하기에 적합한 단독주택 지구에 자리잡은 이 지역 소비문화 경관의 특징은 세계화와 더불어 활발해진 외국소비문화의 유입이며, 특히 이 곳에 유입되는 소비문화가 고급소비상품이라는 점에서 중산층의 배타적인 소비공간이라는 점이다. 또다른 지배적인 경관상의 특징은

과거에서 현재까지 근대 상하이는 식민주의와 근대성과 관련한 대립적 장소기억의 대상이었다. 근대 상하이의 상징적 경관들은 정치적 변화 속에서 끊임없이 제거되거나 이용되고 경합되어 왔다. 본 연구의 목적은 역사적으로 결정적인 순간들을 거치면서, 근대 상하이에 관한 장소기억이 부끄러운 것에서 자랑스러운 것으로 변화하여 온 과정을 검토하는 것이다. 특히 본 연구는 개혁개방 이후 상하이에서 근대 시기에 대한 노스탤지어가 어떻게 구성되고 소비되는지를 밝힘으로서, 사회주의 체제 하 탈식민주의 도시에서 나타나는 장소기억의 복잡한 과정을 드러내고자 한다.

The zebra shark Stegostoma fasciatum which had been reared in the commercial aquaria was found dead and submitted for postmortem examination. A pure bacterial culture was isolated from pale and enlarged liver. 본 연구는 중앙선과 주요 연결노선의 형성과정 및 기능변화를 통해 중앙선 연선지역에 대한 기초연구를 수행하였다. 일제하에 건설된 중앙선은 자원수탈과 전략물자 확보를 위한 산업철도로서의 역할이 부여되었다. 해방후에는 태백·소백산맥 지역에서 채굴된 자원을 수도권과 인구밀집지역으로 수송하기 위해 영동선, 태백선, 경북선, 충북선 등 동서방향 철도노선과 연결되었다. 이들 산업철도 노선을 따라 자원생산 및 수송기능이 강화되면서 연선지역의 인구도 성장하고 여객수송 기능도 확대되었다. 그러나 자원생산 및 화물수송이 양회 한 품목에 집중되고 농촌지역의 인구감소 현상이 커지면서 중앙선의 여객수송 기능은 현격히 줄었다. 더구나 전철화 복선화가 완료되지 못한 영주역 이남 지역의 여객수송은 자동차 교통과의 경쟁에 취약하다. 반면 2005년부터 개통된 수도권 광역전철 중앙선의 여객수송 기능은 크게 확대되고 있으며 연선지역의 인구 증가 역시 뚜렷하다.
