연구실 소개
우주선 교수의 연구실은 극지 및 외계 천체의 퇴적환경과 광물학적 구조를 원격 탐사 및 지질학적 분석을 통해 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 랜드세이트, 애스터 위성 자료를 활용한 다중스펙트럼 및 히퍼스펙트럼 이미지 처리 기법을 응용해 극지 지역의 지질지도 작성과 광물 탐사에 기여하고 있으며, 화성의 퇴적분지에서의 기후 변화와 수문 활동의 흔적을 분석하는 데도 전문성을 기르고 있습니다. 또한 고생대의 미생물성 석회석 퇴적물과 그 형성 메커니즘에 대한 연구를 통해 지구의 초기 생태계와 환경 변화를 탐구하고 있습니다.
