연구실 소개
박중신 교수의 연구실은 산부인과 질환의 분자 기반 메커니즘을 규명하고, 조기 출산, 전신증후군, 비만 관련 대사 이상 등 고위험 산모 및 태아의 임상적 결과를 개선하기 위한 정밀의료 기반 연구를 주요 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 조기 출산의 원인인 자궁경부 불안정성, 만성 염증 반응, 그리고 태반 형성 이상과 관련된 단백질 및 대사 생물학적 마커를 탐색하며, 혈액과 소변을 이용한 조기 진단 생물학적 지표 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 또한 인간 편평바이러스(HPV) 감염의 모체-태반 전이 및 영향에 대한 기전 연구를 통해 산과 감염의 장기적 영향을 분석하고 있습니다.

15Preterm birth (defined as delivery prior to 37 weeks' gestation) complicates 5-10% of all births. It is a major cause of perinatal mortality and morbidity.
