연구실 소개
이주원 교수의 연구실은 건강과 환경의 상호작용을 중심으로 한 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 운동 능력과 신체 활동이 만성질환 및 노화 관련 질환에 미치는 영향을 생체모니터링과 장기 코hort 분석을 통해 규명하고 있으며, 신체활동, 심혈관계 건강, 대사질환 간의 연관성을 심층적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 또한, 광전해를 통한 수소 생산을 위한 나노소재 개발과 같은 에너지 분야 연구도 병행하고 있습니다.

In this study, we demonstrate that activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) with glabridin alleviates adiposity and hyperlipidemia in obesity.
