김광우 교수의 연구실은 건물 에너지 효율성 향상을 위한 스마트 환열 시스템과 건축물 내부 환경 제어 기술에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히 열활성화 건물시스템(TABS), 에너지 균형 시스템(EBS), 그리고 다중 주거용 건물의 성능 평가 모델 개발을 통해 실질적인 에너지 절감과 주거 품질 향상을 추구하고 있습니다. 또한, 의료 분야의 신경병성 통증 및 염증성 장질환 메커니즘에 대한 생물학적 연구를 병행하여, 건강과 환경의 융합적 접근을 모색하고 있습니다.

An energy balancing system (EBS) performs heating and cooling by utilizing the refrigerant cycle.
