연구실 소개
박경석 교수의 연구실은 식물근권박테리아를 활용한 병원균 저항성 유도 및 생물학적 방제 기술을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 Bacillus vallismortis EXTN-1과 같은 유용한 근권박테리아가 식물의 시스템적 저항성을 유도하여 토마토, 오이, 감자, 벼 등 다양한 농작물의 병해 저항성과 수확량을 향상시키는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 식물의 방어 유전자 발현 조절과 생장 촉진 메커니즘을 기반으로 하며, 농업 현장에서의 실용적 적용 가능성을 높이고자 합니다.

15The role of exopolysaccharides (EPSs) from a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium, Burkholderia gladioli IN26, on elicitation of induced systemic resistance was investigated. Biocontrol activity of five strains of selected rhizo-bacteria were tested in tomato against bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum. The time to next attack in NMO can increase naturally in the later stages of the disease as the number of cumulative attacks increases. Nevertheless, both combined azathioprine treatment with continued oral prednisolone and rituximab treatment were also associated with a longer time to next attack, independently of the natural disease course of NMO.
Bacillus vallismortis EXTN-1, a biocontrol agent in cucumber, tomato and potato was tested in rice pathosystem against rice fungal pathogens viz. Magnaporthe grisea, Rhizoctonia solani and Cochliobolus miyabeanus. In our study, the incidence of transient changes in MEPs was higher in hemangioblastoma than in ependymoma. Our data suggest that it may be necessary to consider tumor features and the type of surgical technique used, particularly when interpreting intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring profiles of intramedullary spinal cord tumors such as ependymomas and hemangioblastomas.
The utility of IONM in ACDF for OPLL has not been evaluated due to its rarity. This study supports the use of IONM in cervical OPLL with myelopathy.
This is first large scale study to identify the usefulness of multi-channel MEPs in monitoring ACDF surgery.
Both the FACS assay and C-CBA are sensitive and highly specific assays in detecting AQP4-Ab. However, in some sera with relatively low antibody titer, FACS-assay can be a more sensitive assay option. In real practice, complementary use of FACS assay and C-CBA will benefit the diagnosis of NMO patients, because the former can be more sensitive among low titer sera and the latter are easier to use therefore can be widely used.
This is first study to identify the usefulness of C-MEPs as a control of cervical spinal surgery.
