연구실 소개
김경수 교수의 연구실은 주로 신경과학 및 임상응용 분야에서의 약리학적 작용 기전을 규명하고자 하며, 특히 구강암 세포의 프로그램된 세포사멸 유도, 비염 및 비비료 증후군과 같은 상부 호흡기 질환의 치료적 접근을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 자연물에서 유래한 성분(예: 게이너골드 추출물)의 항암 작용 메커니즘과 보툴리누스 토크신의 비강 내 항콜린성 효과 등에 대한 기초 및 임상 연구를 융합적으로 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 만성 비염, 출혈성 비비료, 췌장암의 예후 인자 등 다양한 임상 문제에 대한 메타분석과 전향적 연구를 통해 정밀의료 기반의 치료 전략을 모색하고 있습니다.

15Our results suggest that stratification of the patients based on margin status is warranted in the clinical trials assessing the role of adjuvant treatment for pancreatic cancer.
In this study, RIS accounted for 0.9% of the cases of sarcoma, with increasing incidence. Despite the association of curative resection with increased survival, it could be applied to only 58% of the patients. Considering the limited treatment options for RIS, conduct of a genetic study to identify the underlying mechanism of RIS is needed.

The contralateral hippocampus could be effectively spared in patients with primary brain tumor via VMAT to preserve the verbal memory function. Further investigation is needed to identify those patients who will most benefit from hippocampal-sparing radiotherapy of the primary brain tumor.
