연구실 소개

이 교수의 연구실은 로봇 및 에너지 수술 기술을 중심으로 최신 내 endoscopic 및 로봇 수술의 정밀성과 안정성을 높이기 위한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 수술 중 외과의사의 운동 패턴을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 딥러닝 기반의 수술 기기 추적 알고리즘 개발로 수술 기술 평가의 객관화를 도모하고 있으며, 갑상선 및 부갑상선 수술에서 미세외과적 접근의 임상적 유용성과 미용적 결과를 최적화하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 갑상선암의 분자생물학적 특성과 예후 인자에 대한 분석을 통해 정밀의료 기반의 진단 및 치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Robotic endoscopic thyroidectomy using the BABA technique is a feasible procedure and can be performed safely. It provides an excellent operative field view enabling easy identification of vital structures.
