연구실 소개

이민정 교수의 연구실은 전염병 대응과 공중보건 정책의 효과성을 높이기 위한 인식, 태도, 행동(KAP) 분석을 중심으로, 특히 코로나19와 같은 급성 감염병 발란스에서의 공중보건 준비 및 대응 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 식물공장에서의 유전자 발현 조절과 항산화 물질 축적, 면역세포 활성화 경로를 타겟으로 한 뇌질환 치료제 개발 등 생명과학과 보건정책의 융합 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 백신 수용도 향상과 의료 이용 회피 방지를 위한 정책적 대응 전략 수립에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Our findings strongly suggest that IKK/NF-kB-induced myeloid cell activation exacerbates EAE by activating Th1 and Th17 responses and compromising the BBB.
