연구실 소개
방문석 교수의 연구실은 뇌병변 및 근병증 환자의 신경기능 회복과 재활 기술 개발을 중심으로, 뇌성마비, 도파킨드르스병 등 신경근육질환의 병태생리학적 기전과 치료 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, 뇌성마비의 주요 원인인 뇌실주위백질소괴와 근육의 조혈(apoptosis) 반응, 보조치료로의 전기자극 및 보툴리누스 독소의 효과를 기반으로 한 정밀한 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 재활로봇의 기능적 움직임 범위 분석을 통해 임상적 적용 가능성을 높이고자 합니다. 이와 함께, 환자의 신체 기능 향상을 위한 정밀한 생체역학적 분석과 약물치료의 최적화도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.
