연구실 소개

박명주 교수의 연구실은 주로 생산 및 서비스 분야의 스케줄링 최적화 문제를 중심으로 연구를 전개하고 있습니다. 특히 이중 목표를 동시에 고려하는 이중 에이전트 스케줄링, 자원 할당에 따른 처리 시간 변화를 고려한 유연한 스케줄링, 에너지 소비 최소화를 동시에 고려한 제조 공정 최적화 등 복잡한 제약 조건 하에서의 정량적 의사결정 모델링에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 연구는 정수계획법, 제약프로그래밍, 근사알고리즘 등을 활용해 실용적인 해법을 제시하며, 산업 현장 적용 가능성을 고려한 벤치마크 자료 제공도 함께 진행됩니다. 특히 서비스업과 제조업의 효율성 향상을 위한 스마트한 자원 배분 전략 개발이 핵심 과제입니다.

Abstract In this paper, we consider the problem of minimizing the total weighted completion time in an n-job, two-machine proportionate flow shop, where job processing times are inversely proportional to machine speeds. We show that the problem is NP-complete.
