연구실 소개
전명재 교수 연구실은 여성의 골반저지지 결합조직 기능과 그 기전을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 난소기능저하, 히로이드 기능 이상, 호르몬 변화 등이 골반장기탈락(POP)과 성기능에 미치는 영향을 분자생물학적·유전적 관점에서 규명하고 있으며, 콜라겐 대사 조절에 관여하는 전사인자(HOXA11)와 미세RNA(microRNA)의 역할을 중심으로 기초 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다. 이와 함께 수술적 치료의 장기적 효과와 합병증 위험성에 대해서도 임상적·장기적 연구를 병행하고 있습니다.
