연구실 소개
김세익 교수의 연구실은 고-grade 세균성 난소암(HGSOC)의 예후 요인과 생물학적 기전을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 BRCA 유전자 변이, 근육량 감소(sarcopenia), 체중 저하 등 신체 구성과 염증 반응이 암 진행과 생존에 미치는 영향을 정밀하게 분석하고 있으며, 혈청 내 미생물 유래 외소포를 활용한 난소암 조기 진단 모델 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이는 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립과 예후 예측에 기여할 임상적 의의를 지닙니다.

We successfully developed nomograms predicting treatment response and prognosis of patients with EOC. These nomograms are expected to be useful in clinical practice and designing clinical trials.
