연구실 소개
강성희 교수의 연구실은 종양학, 방사선 옹호 및 진단 영상 분야에서 활발한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 간세포암과 같은 암 치료 반응 예측을 위한 혈청 미크로RNA 생물학적 마커 규명, 신체 부위별 방사선 노출 최소화를 위한 첨단 방사선 가드 기술 개발, 그리고 피부질환의 병태생리 기전과 치료 전략 탐색 등 다학제적 접근을 통해 임상적 응용가치가 높은 연구를 지속적으로 전개하고 있습니다. 특히, 환자 맞춤형 방사선 치료 기술 및 생체모의 장치 개발을 통해 정밀의료의 실현에 기여하고 있습니다.

We have developed a deformable lung phantom with 3D-printed airways based on a human lung CT image. Our findings indicate reproducible density, motion/deformation, and position. This phantom is based on widely available materials and technology, which represents advantages over other deformable phantoms.

Cancellous allograft bone chips are commonly used in the reconstruction of defects in bone after removal of benign tumours. We investigated the MRI features of grafted bone chips and their change over time, and compared them with those with recurrent tumour. We retrospectively reviewed 66 post-operative MRIs from 34 patients who had undergone curettage and grafting with cancellous bone chips to fill the defect after excision of a tumour. We designed a foetal shielding device consisting of three parts to effectively reduce the dose delivered to the foetus, and evaluated the device with various treatment techniques for a pregnant patient with brain tumour. The foetal shielding device shielded the scattered/leaked radiation from the treatment machine, and also effectively reduced internal scattering from the treatment area in the patient.

본 연구는 초상자성 산화철 나노입자 (SPIONs)의 세포독성평가 및 SPIONs를 uptake한 뇌신경교종 (glioblastoma multiforme, GBM) 세포의 방사선 세포생존곡선을 구하기 위해 수행되었으며, 본 연구의 결과는 양성자선과 SPIONs 이용한 GBM의 양성자선 치료선량 정보 등 양성자선 치료효과를 개선하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. SPIONs의 세포독성을 평가는 in vitro 실험 후 MTT 분석법을 이용하여 수행하였다. 독성평가 결과 <TEX>$1{\sim}100{\mu}g/ml$</TEX>의 농도에서는 세포생존율의 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 하지만 <TEX>$200{\mu}g/ml$</TEX>의 농도에서는 세포생존율이 74.2%로 감소하며 세포독성을 나타냈다.
