연구실 소개
정승용 교수의 연구실은 대장직장암의 치료 전략 최적화와 생물학적 기전 규명을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 수술 시기 결정, 예후 예측 인자(예: 종양 확장 깊이, 종양 budding), 그리고 유전자적 변이와 내인성 이질성(ITH)이 암 진행에 미치는 영향을 다각도로 연구하고 있습니다. 또한, 환자 유래 옹종(organoid) 및 세포주를 활용한 약물 반응 분석을 통해 개인화된 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 한국에서 소비가 많은 발효 간장 제품의 감각적 특성 분석을 통한 품질 평가 방법 개발도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.

15The present findings suggest that compared with a 4 to 6 week interval, delaying surgery for 6 to 8 weeks after completion of fractionated radiotherapy with concurrent chemotherapy does not improve CRT response or the sphincter-preservation rate, and does not decrease morbidity or local recurrence.
Approximately 16 percent of patients with submucosally invasive colorectal carcinoma and risk factors benefited from subsequent surgery. Tumor budding was the most significant factor for lymph node metastasis. Observation would be appropriate for patients without risk factors after endoscopic resection.
