연구실 소개

구승엽 교수의 연구실은 생식 건강과 나이 듦과 관련된 호르몬 및 유전적 요인, 특히 여성의 골다공로시스, 다낭성 난소 증후군(PCOS), 근육량 감소 등에서 성호르몬의 역할을 중심으로 기초 및 임상 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 유전자 다형성, mitochondrial 기능 이상, 그리고 난소 기능 저하와 관련된 분자 기전을 규명하고자 하며, 생식세포 보존 및 인공 난소 기술을 포함한 생식의학적 신기술 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 연구는 유전, 호르몬, 세포 대사의 상호작용을 중심으로 다양한 모델을 활용한 종합적 접근을 취하고 있습니다.
