연구실 소개
김성훈 교수의 연구실은 신경퇴행성 질환, 특히 알츠하이머병과 다운 syndrome에서의 세포 내 신호 전달 이상에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 레이브5와 APPL1 단백질이 관여하는 엔도좀 기반의 단백질 분해 경로를 중심으로 기전을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 암 예방과 항암 작용에 기여하는 식물성 성분인 이소티오시아네이트 및 캄페롤의 생물학적 기전에 대한 분석을 통해 자연물 기반의 항암제 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 최근에는 신뢰도 높은 센서 기술 개발을 통해 환경 모니터링과 의료 진단에 활용 가능한 나노복합재료 기반의 습도 센서 기술도 개발하고 있습니다.
