연구실 소개

김선희 교수의 연구실은 신경발달 및 세포 이동 메커니즘을 중심으로, 기저막의 구조적 기능과 신경세포의 정상적 이동을 조절하는 분자적 기전을 규명하고자 합니다. 특히, TSC 유전자 결핍에 의한 뇌세포 이동 장애와 Reelin-Dab1 신호전달 경로의 이상에 초점을 맞추며, 뇌질환의 기전 해석과 신경계 발달 이상의 치료적 접근을 모색하고 있습니다. 또한, 세포외 ATP 조절 및 스트레스 반응 메커니즘을 통해 식물과 동물의 생리적 적응 메커니즘을 비교 연구하고 있습니다.

Basement membranes can help determine pathways of migrating axons. Although members of the nidogen (entactin) protein family are structural components of basement membranes, we find that nidogen is not required for basement membrane assembly in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans.
