연구실 소개
장원일 교수의 연구실은 간세포생식성암(HCC)과 췌장암을 중심으로 한 암 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 입방선비침습적방사선치료(SBRT)와 메트포르민의 암세포 억제 효과, 그리고 커큐민 등 천연물질이 방사선 치료에 어떻게 작용하는지를 기반으로 한 표적 치료 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 뇌종양인 거대세포성신경아교세포종의 치료 내성 문제 해결을 위한 약물 조합 기반의 신규 치료법 개발도 진행 중입니다. 이는 임상적 적용이 가능한 맞춤형 암 치료의 실현을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

15This study demonstrated a dose response relationship for LC and OS with SBRT for HCC. Higher LC rates resulting from an increased dose may translate into survival benefits for patients with HCC.
With a median follow-up of 41 months, this prospective multicenter study demonstrated that SBRT for patients with HCC is well tolerated and is an effective treatment modality.
PVR reduced the RV volume and improved the RV function within the first postoperative year. The rate of freedom from reoperation during the 10-year follow-up period in our series was acceptable.
