연구실 소개
김연수 교수의 연구실은 만성질환과 건강행태를 중심으로 한 생애주기적 건강 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 고령화와 관련된 근육량 감소(사크로펜리아)와 비만의 병합 상태인 사크로펜릭 오비지티의 유병률 및 진단 기준의 성별 차이를 분석하며, 식이요법과 생활습관이 건강에 미치는 영향을 다룹니다. 또한 약물유도간손상(DILI)의 원인 분석과 간질환 모니터링을 위한 생체마커 연구도 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 한국인의 특수한 식생활 패턴과 약물 사용 패턴을 기반으로 한 정량적·정성적 분석이 특징입니다.

15The prevalence of sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity differs by gender and definition criteria. The height-adjusted definition may tend to underestimate the prevalence of sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity, especially in women.
DILI appears to be a highly relevant health problem in Korea. "Herbal medications" are the principal cause of DILI. A more objective and reproducible causality assessment tool is strongly desired as the RUCAM scale frequently undercounts the cases caused by herbs owing to a lack of previous information and incompatible time criteria.

The association between the Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII®), the glycemic index (GI), and the glycemic load (GL) is not known, although it is known that carbohydrates are pro-inflammatory.
