연구실 소개
조유환 교수의 연구실은 중환자 및 응급실에서의 생명 위험 요소를 조기에 진단하고 예측하는 데 초점을 맞춘 임상응급의학 및 생체모니터링 기술 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 세ptic 쇼크 환자에서 백혈구 계수 변화와 예후의 연관성, 혈액형광촬영(NIRSIT)을 이용한 뇌졸중 조기 진단 기술의 임상적 유용성 등 혁신적인 모니터링 기법 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 또한, 마취 및 진정제의 최적 선택 기준 마련을 위한 임상적 평가도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.

15This study was performed to evaluate the association of monocyte counts with mortality, the rate of bacteremia, and organ dysfunction and to evaluate whether the change in monocyte counts from the premorbid state to sepsis would differ between survivors and non-survivors in patients with severe sepsis including septic shock. Our study showed that DEWS was superior to MEWS in three key aspects (IHCA predictive, alarming, and timeliness performance). This study demonstrates the potential of DEWS as an effective, efficient screening tool in rapid response systems (RRSs) to identify high-risk patients.
Nitrous oxide inhalation was preferable to injectable ketamine for pediatric patients because it is safe, allows for a faster recovery, maintains sufficient sedation time, and does not induce unnecessarily deep sedation.
