연구실 소개

임영운 교수의 연구실은 균류와 미생물 상호작용에 초점을 맞춘 생물다양성 및 환경 미생물학을 연구합니다. 특히, 산림 생태계에서 중요한 역할을 하는 왕버섯(Tricholoma matsutake)과 그 주변 미생물 군집의 상호관계, 균류가 형성하는 특수한 토양 환경(마법의 고리)이 미생물 군집에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 있습니다. 또한, 16S 및 ITS 유전자 시퀀싱을 활용한 고속 시퀀싱 기반의 생물다양성 분석을 통해 토양 내 미생물 군집의 구조와 기능을 규명하고 있습니다.
