연구실 소개
최병세 교수의 연구실은 뇌영상학을 기반으로 신경퇴행성질환, 특히 파킨슨병과 α-시나클레오파티의 조기 진단 및 병태생리 기전 규명을 목표로 합니다. 고해상도 MRI를 활용한 니그로솜, 뉴로멜라닌, 철분 분포 및 간질성 간질성 경로 기능 평가 등 정밀 뇌영상 기법 개발에 주력하고 있으며, 특히 DTI를 활용한 뇌간질성 기능 평가와 머신러닝 기반 진단 알고리즘 개발도 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 수면 장애와 관련된 빠른 눈동자 운동 행동 장애(RBD)에서 뇌간질성 기능 이상이 어떻게 신경퇴행성 질환으로의 전환과 연관되는지 비침습적 영상으로 규명하고자 합니다.

This study used resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rsfMRI) to investigate whole brain networks in patients with persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD).
