연구실 소개

기창석 교수의 연구실은 생체재료 및 조직공학 분야에서 활동하며, 특히 실크 피브로인 기반 나노섬유 기반 3차원 생체 임플란트 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 전기장에 의한 나노섬유 스피닝 기술을 활용해 높은 기공률과 생체적합성을 확보한 생체막을 제작하고, 이들이 세포 생장과 조직 형성에 어떻게 기여하는지에 대한 기초 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 유전적 질환과 암 관련 유전자 변이를 분석하는 분자진단 기술과도 연계하여, 맞춤형 치료를 위한 바이오마커 탐색에도 기여하고 있습니다.
