연구실 소개
임춘수 교수의 연구실은 심정지 이후 뇌손상, 만성 신장질환, 특히 IgA 난소성신염의 면역 및 유전적 기전에 중점을 두고 있으며, 뇌기능 회복과 생존자 질환 관리에 기여할 수 있는 신경생물학적 및 면역학적 메커니즘을 규명하고자 합니다. 특히 심정지 후 인지기능 저하, 히포크암프스의 구조적 특성, 그리고 IgA 신염의 유전적 소인과 염증 반응 간의 연관성에 대한 기초 및 임상 연구를 병행하고 있습니다. 이는 환자의 장기적 삶의 질 향상과 질병 진행 예측에 기여하는 핵심 연구 분야입니다.

15Diffuse, sudden ischemic-hypoxic injury caused by cardiac arrest (CA) does not preferentially damage memory systems. Subacute or stepwise hypoxic or excitotoxic injury may cause isolated hippocampal injury and amnesia.
