연구실 소개
이희선 교수의 연구실은 대사질환, 특히 비만과 인슐린 저항성과 관련된 대사 변화에 영향을 미치는 천연소재의 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 치료적 응용이 가능한 천연 유래 물질인 초록조류 클로렐라의 대사 조절 효과를 실험동물 모델을 통해 분석하며, 지질 대사 및 혈액포도당 조절 기전에 대한 기초 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 심혈관계 질환과 만성 신장질환 등 대사 이상이 연관된 만성질환의 장기적 영향에 대해서도 인구기반 코hort 연구를 통해 종합적 분석을 수행하고 있습니다.

15For statin-naïve young adults, the risk of clinical events was proportional to lipid levels, positively with TC and triglycerides, negatively with HDL-C, and J-shaped with LDL-C. Triglycerides had an independent and the strongest association with the clinical events. Screening and intervention for abnormal lipid levels, particularly triglycerides, from an early age might be of clinical value.
This large-scale nationwide population-based real-world cohort study revealed no significant difference in composite cardiovascular outcomes between new users of dapagliflozin and empagliflozin.
