연구실 소개

진호준 교수의 연구실은 만성 신장질환, 특히 IgA 난소성 신염과 루푸스 신염의 병태생리학적 기전과 예후를 중심으로 신장 기능 저하와 관련된 삶의 질 저하, 대사 증후군과 나트륨 섭취의 상관관계, 그리고 항산화 물질인 빌리루빈이 고혈압 발생에 미치는 영향 등 신장 질환과 대사질환의 상호관계를 다루는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 신장 기능 저하가 노인층의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향과 세밀한 신호전달 경로(예: Jak2/Stat5 경로)의 기전 규명에도 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 이는 향후 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 개발에 기여할 임상의학적 통찰을 제공합니다.
