연구실 소개

서혜연 교수의 연구실은 암 환자의 삶의 질 향상을 목표로 하며, 특히 암 생존자 간호사의 간호 실천과 유전성 유방암에 대한 환자 인지 수준, 그리고 항암 치료 후 유전자 기반 면역치료제의 안전성과 효과를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 최근에는 신체 내 내재된 유황 기반 기체전달물질인 황화수소(H₂S)를 탐지할 수 있는 PET 영상 진단 기술 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이는 염증 및 저산소 상태에서의 병태생리적 변화를 정량적으로 평가하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대됩니다.

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), recognized as the third gasotransmitter with specific implications for inflammation and hypoxia, exhibits affinity for 64Cu immobilization. This study explores the viability of 64Cu-labeled PET tracers in detecting endogenous H2S.
