연구실 소개
공현중 교수의 연구실은 의료 영상 분석과 로봇 수술의 정량적 평가를 중심으로, 딥러닝 및 연합학습 기반의 스마트 헬스케어 기술을 개발하고 있습니다. 특히 수술 기록의 운동 데이터를 기반으로 수술 기량을 자동으로 평가하는 알고리즘과, 환자 개인정보를 보호하면서도 의료 영상 분석 성능을 향상시키는 분산 학습 기법에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 IoT 기반의 병원 환경 개선 및 인공지능을 활용한 알츠하이머병 조기 진단 시스템의 간소화도 연구하고 있습니다. 이는 환자 중심의 정밀의료와 원격의료의 실현을 위한 기반 기술을 제공합니다.

We demonstrated that the performance of federated learning using decentralized data was comparable to that of conventional deep learning using pooled data. Federated learning might be potentially useful for analyzing medical images while protecting patients' personal information.
The findings indicate that prolonged exercise is superior to multiple short sessions for improving the risk of metabolic syndrome and the atherogenic index in middle-aged obese women.
