연구실 소개
조현재 교수의 연구실은 심장질환과 혈관 손상 치유를 위한 세포기반 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 혈관 내피유전자세포(EPC)와 유도플루이던트스템(iPS) 세포를 활용한 비세포적 기전(체액성 인자)을 통한 조직 재생 메커니즘을 규명하고 있으며, 장기적으로는 심부전 및 뇌질환과의 연관성까지 탐색하고 있습니다. 유전자 조작 없이도 세포 재프로그래밍을 유도하는 단백질 전달 기술 개발도 핵심 연구 과제입니다.

While 6-year-old children who had not ingested fluoridated water showed higher dft in the WF-ceased area than in the non-WF area, 11-year-old children in the WF-ceased area who had ingested fluoridated water for approximately 4 years after birth showed significantly lower DMFT than those in the non-WF area. This suggests that the systemic effect of fluoride intake through water fluoridation could be important for the prevention of dental caries.
This meta-analysis demonstrated discrepancies between short-term LV functional improvement and long-term all-cause mortality. Future clinical trials should include long-term follow-up outcomes to validate the therapeutic efficacy of cell therapy.
