연구실 소개
남현우 교수의 연구실은 뇌전증, 수면무호흡증, 소뇌성 위축증 등 신경계 질환과 관련된 생체 신호의 정밀 분석을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 뇌파(EEG) 신호의 독립성 분석과 수면다원검사(PSG)를 활용한 수면 장애의 객관적 평가, 뇌혈관 유연성과 소뇌질환 간의 연관성 연구를 통해 신경영상과 생체신호 분석의 융합적 접근을 추구하고 있습니다. 최근에는 항경련제 치료가 뼈 건강에 미치는 영향에 대한 장기적 영향 평가도 진행 중입니다.

We present a 70-year-old woman with nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) with thalamic hyperintensity on diffusion-weighted MRI (DWI). She had no previous history of epilepsy. Her altered mentality was not normalized though we successfully controlled the ictal activity by standard treatment.
