연구실 소개

서정화 교수의 연구실은 해양구조물의 항력 및 추진성능을 수치유체역학 기반으로 분석하며, 특히 선체 형상 최적화와 추진기 성능 향상을 위한 CFD 기반 시뮬레이션 기법을 핵심으로 연구하고 있습니다. 고속 단일체선의 운동성능과 항해 중 수면파에 대한 거동을 모델링하고, 스프레이 레일 등의 수동적 조작 장치를 통해 선체의 침내각 감소 및 항력 저감을 도모하는 연구도 진행 중입니다. 또한, 선박의 수중 유동 해석을 위한 고정밀 메쉬 생성 기법과 동적 경계 조건 처리 기술에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
