한지원 교수의 연구실은 신경퇴행성질환, 특히 치매와 파킨슨병의 정신건강 및 인지기능 저하에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 뇌의 염증 반응과 혈관 내 면역 반응의 3차원적 구조적 특성이 질병 진행에 미치는 영향을 해부하는 데에도 기여하고 있으며, 특히 인지기능 향상을 위한 다모달 치료법 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 이는 환자의 삶의 질 향상과 정신건강 유지에 기여하는 임상적 의미가 큽니다.
