차지욱 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 정서 조절 및 보상 회로 기능 이상이 관련된 정신질환, 특히 불안장애, 우울증, 에이니어렉시아니아, 알츠하이머병 등의 신경생물학적 기반을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 체성 자기공명영상(MRI)과 기계학습 기반의 대규모 건강 데이터 분석을 통해 뇌 구조·기능의 변화와 정신질환 간의 연관성을 규명하고 있으며, 특히 전측피개질환(전두엽-伏隔핵) 회로와 해마, 덴트구역 등의 신경회로가 정서 및 인지 기능에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
