신종원 교수의 연구실은 전력전자 및 에너지 변환 기술 분야에서 핵심적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 주요 연구 방향은 고효율 전력변환 회로 설계, 배터리 밸런싱 기술, 전자기간섭(EMI) 저감 기술, 그리고 나노소재 합성 공정 최적화입니다. 특히, 고성능 피크 전류 모드 제어, 브릿지리스 파워 팩터 보정, 공통모드 노이즈 감소 기술 등에서 독창적인 회로 구조와 설계 기법을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한, 고체 전자기기의 열·전기적 성능을 동시에 고려한 파워 모듈 설계 및 나노입자 합성 공정의 실시간 모니터링 기술도 함께 연구하고 있습니다.

In this paper, a cell balancing circuit for the Lithium-ion battery string based on the Flyback topology is proposed. The proposed circuit draws the charge out of the high voltage cell and recovers it to the overall battery pack. The stress response during Pb underpotential deposition on (111)-textured Au has been examined on a cantilever beam electrode in perchloric acid supporting electrolyte. The stress behavior of hydrogen adsorption/absorption into Pd layers electrodeposited on (111)-textured gold has been examined in alkaline solution. Stress generation was examined during the electrodeposition of NixPt1−x alloys from 0.5 M NaCl + 3 mM K2PtCl4 + 0.1 M NiCl2 (pH = 2.5), using the wafer curvature method, in films measuring less than 50 nm in thickness.
